The Bulgarian Lion is set for the next stage of his journey, graduating from Formula 3 to the FIA Formula 2 Championship with the same Campos Racing family that has guided his rise.

After a stellar 2025 F3 season where he claimed the vice-championship and helped secure the teams’ crown, the Nikola Tsolov now moves to the final step before Formula 1 as a proud member of the Red Bull Junior Team. A gearbox failure in practice left Nikola on the back foot and limited his running before qualifying, where he could manage only 21st on the grid. Undeterred, he gained six places in the Sprint to finish 15th and set the stage for a remarkable Sunday.

In wet and tricky conditions he charged through the field from 21st to 6th, overtaking at every opportunity and drawing praise from the commentators, who described some of his moves as “real PlayStation stuff.” It was a display of skill and determination that turned a weekend of setbacks into one of the standout drives of the season.

Returning to the Principality, where he claimed his first F3 victory in last year’s Sprint Race, Nikola delivered a weekend of complete dominance, this time in qualifying and the Feature Race. He stormed to pole as the only driver to break into the 1:24s, showcasing pace that none of his rivals could match.

In the Feature, he controlled the race from lights to flag, building a gap of over 7 seconds despite two safety car restarts, and sealed the performance with the fastest lap of the race.

It was a statement drive that left no doubt about who was the class of the field. Now sitting third in the Drivers' Championship, we head to Barcelona, the home race of Campos, with momentum, confidence, and a growing sense that something special is building.
